Yet another Jamaica Bay Kayak Tournament has come and gone, and yet again another KFA-NY angler is on the leaderboard.

This year, Bob Stueber caught the largest fish of the tournament, a Striped Bass reaching 42" in length, as well as a huge bluefish in the high 30" range.

In 2007, the KFA-NY became an official organization, and since then we have been proving a record of success at the Jamaica Bay tournament.

In 2008, Tauras Vebeliunas placed second in the Open division, and 3rd in the slam division

In 2009, Lee Dascole took 1st place in the womens division. But she was not alone on the leaderboard. Daryl McAvoy took 3rd place in the open division. Carl Schneider took 2nd place in the open division, and was the 1st place winner in the Slam Division!

In 2010, Lee Dascole remained on the leaderboard, taking 2nd place in the womens division. Joining her was Tom Lowe, who took 2nd place in the overall division.

In 2011, Bob Stueber took 1st place in the Open Division.

Folks, the facts just don't lie- when it comes to the Jamaica Bay Kayak Tournament, Count on the KFA!
